Miss Chrissy

Dance Program Lead

For the past fifteen years Chrissy has been

teaching, choreographing, and coaching

dancers ages 2 - adult. Chrissy believes

that dance has the ability to change

everyone's lives for the better whether it

be the dancers themselves or the audience

members watching.

Chrissy has been the owner of

Dancepiration Dance Studio since 2010. She teaches jazz, hip-hop, tap lyrical/contemporary, Broadway, ballet, pointe, music & movement, conditioning, special needs dance and runs the dance company and competitive team. Owning the studio has brought her many amazing opportunities. Some of the highlights being top overall and specialty awards for choreography for competitive pieces, Performances all over the Chicagoland area including UIC, Windy City Bulls, IAMCHICAGO UNITE on WGN, Navy Pier and many more. The special needs program is at the heart of the studio and is something she is most proud of and can't wait to be able to start more classes at the PPD! Chrissy has loved bringing in master teachers from all over including Lauren Froderman from So You Think You Can Dance. Chrissy has also taught alongside Lauren at the Liberate Artists first Phoenix Fire in NYC. The slogan for her studio is "inspiring you one dance at a time" and that is what she truly believes that each dance can inspire us no matter the age or skill level of the dancer.

Chrissy taught for the Cary Park District from 2007-2012 as well as for the Center for Performing Arts Inc from 2007-2010 in all of the styles listed previously as well as teaching wedding dances, line dancing and dance birthday parties. During this time, she also choreographed musicals for Harvard High School. After she graduated high school Chrissy returned to choreograph clinics and competitive routines for the high school’s varsity dance team as well as coaching the jv squad for a season.

Chrissy's passion is teaching dance and she is excited to have the opportunity to enrich the dance program at the Palatine Park District and bring the community some amazing dance programs!
